Online Courses in Applied Behavior Analysis
The special education program at Ohio State offers an Association for Behavior Analysis International verified course sequence as part of the requirements for a master's degree in special education, ABA specialization.
Students who have a master's degree in education or psychology may also enroll in any of these courses as a graduate non-degree student. Any of the verified course sequence also may be taken as electives.
What is a Behavior Analyst?
Behavior analysts assess environmental influences on behavior, develop individualized intervention plans, implement assessment-based interventions, and use data to make instructional decisions.
They use applied behavior analysis (ABA) to employ evidence-based principles that improve social, academic, daily living, vocational and quality of life outcomes for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
